Our Mission

So our mission? The truth is we can't achieve our mission, without your support. What we choose to wear, goes way deeper than just style or trends.

When you buy from fast fashion brands, you’re supporting a system that’s built on cutting corners. Factories where workers get paid next to nothing. Cheap materials that fall apart after a few washes. Massive amounts of waste dumped into landfills and oceans.

It’s not fashion—it’s pollution.

But there's another way!

Choosing a smaller brand that actually gives a sh*t about ethical manufacturing, where our products come from & where our products end up, means you’re backing fair wages, safe working conditions, and human dignity. When we use 100% cotton or recycled fabrics, it’s not just about being “eco”—it’s about making clothing that lasts, that breathes, and that doesn’t leave a mess behind when you're done with it!

KOOKVILLE PACKAGING

Wrapped in Kraft, Not Crap.

And when our packaging is compostable and made from recycled paper, it’s one less piece of plastic choking the planet.

Our packaging is totally plastic free. We opt out to use poly mailers although are extremely cost effecient for the clothing indusry. We believe appearance and first impressions matter, alot, plus If it doesn't look natural it probably isnt!

So we use Kraft paper mailing bags, each one of our packaging bags is made carbon neutrally from sustainably sourced paper, our paper mailing bags are 100% plastic-free, recyclable and biodegradable.

PLUS

OUR PACKAGING SUPPLIERS ARE CERTIFED B CORP, OFFLOAD THEIR CARBON EMISSIONS AND ALSO DONATE 1% OF PROFITS TO ENVIRONMENTAL CHARITIES.

Our plastic promise

More than 50% of of the planets clothing contains plastic.

Why is there plastic in our clothing?

..well let us explain.

The process

Crude Oil that comes from the ground, that then is distilled until it makes gasoline, which obviously is used to put in our cars/vans.

Process of distilling leaves a whole bunch of secondary chemicals. One of those secondary chemicals is ethyne. When fooled with, ethyne becomes ethylene. Which is the primary ingredient for plastics.

The clothing eventually gets sold to you the consumer, eventually depending on the quality of the clothing, the item probably one way or another end up at landfill. And where does waste at landfill go? Correct burnt. Which then emits carbon back in to the earths atmosphere.

The Outcome

Plastic fibres get heated and pressed into yarn, which then gets used to thread things like hoodies & t shirts

Which means the main ingredient in the clothing on our backs are made from Fossil Fuels

Look out for the label!

Some of our clothing items are created using plastic waste already, and the best part, you wouldn't have a clue! Using post consumer recycled polyester is a great way of stripping useful product from being burnt in a landfill and giving it a second life.

Our HOODIES in particular save x8 500ml bottles plastic bottles from going to landfill with every hoodie crafted.
