At Kookville, our mission is simple:
to make quality clothing the right way, while protecting the places that inspire us.
What we choose to wear goes far deeper than style or trends. Clothing has an impact — on people, on communities, and on the planet. We believe better choices matter, and that change happens when people support brands that actually give a sh*t.
Quality over Fast Fashion
Fast fashion is built on shortcuts.
Workers paid unfair wages.
Cheap materials that don’t last.
And huge amounts of waste ending up in landfills and oceans.
That isn’t fashion — it’s pollution.
Kookville exists as an alternative. We focus on high-quality garments, made to last, using better materials and ethical production methods. When clothing is made properly, it lasts longer, gets worn more, and creates far less waste over time.
Quality isn’t a feature for us — it’s a responsibility.
Wrapped in Kraft, Not Crap.
Our commitment doesn’t stop at the garment.
All of our packaging is 100% plastic-free. While poly mailers are cheaper and widely used in the clothing industry, we choose not to use them.
First impressions matter — and if it doesn’t look natural, it probably isn’t.
We use:
- Kraft paper mailing bags
- Sustainably sourced materials
- Fully recyclable and biodegradable packaging
Our packaging suppliers are B Corp certified, operate carbon-neutral production, offset their emissions, and donate 1% of profits to environmental charities.
It’s one less piece of plastic entering the world.
Our plastic promise
Most people don’t realise that many everyday garments are made from plastic-based fibres, derived from fossil fuels. These materials shed microplastics every time they’re washed — microplastics that end up in rivers, oceans, and marine life.
That’s why we prioritise:
- High-quality cotton
- Recycled fabrics where appropriate
- Materials that breathe, last, and age well
This isn’t about ticking eco boxes — it’s about making clothing that feels better to wear and leaves less behind.
Look out for the label!
Some of our clothing items are created using plastic waste already, and you wouldn't have a clue! Using post consumer recycled polyester is a great way of stripping useful product from being burnt in a landfill and instead giving it a second life.
Our HOODIES in particular save x8 500ml bottles plastic bottles from going to landfill with every hoodie constructed.
